今日はグループホームで特別なランチタイムを過ごしました。日本の夏の風物詩、**納涼祭（のうりょうさい）**をテーマに、入居者の皆さまと一緒に、夏祭りの思い出を感じるひとときを楽しみました。

Today was no ordinary lunchtime at our group home—it was a special day filled with laughter, nostalgia, and the unforgettable flavors of summer. In celebration of Nouryousai (納涼祭), our annual tradition of honoring the joys of summertime, we brought the spirit of the summer festival right to our dining room.

全国各地で開催される夏祭りには、屋台のにぎわい、浴衣姿の人々、太鼓の音、そしておいしい屋台グルメが欠かせません。今回は、そんな夏祭りの雰囲気をランチに取り入れて、ホームの中で「お祭り気分」を味わっていただきました。

Around Japan, summer festivals are a cherished part of the season—colorful yukata, the sounds of taiko drums, and the unmistakable aroma of festival foods drifting from cheerful yatai (food stalls). While we may not have had fireworks or game booths, we recreated the heart of the experience through food, atmosphere, and the warmth of community.

メニューには、香ばしい焼き鳥、ソースが香る焼きそば、爽やかなメロンソーダフロート、そして冷たくて甘いフルーツをご用意。まるで本物の屋台のようなラインナップに、テーブルを囲んだ皆さんの表情も自然とほころびます。

なんと、あるご入居者様が、テーブルに座る皆さんに向かって「いらっしゃいませ〜！」と元気な声をかけてくださいました。まるで屋台の店員さんのようで、場の雰囲気は一気に夏祭りモードに！

Our menu was inspired by classic festival treats: sizzling yakitori, flavorful yakisoba, sweet and frosty melon cream soda, and refreshing cold fruits. The moment the plates were served, the room was filled with joyful chatter and smiles. One of our residents even greeted everyone at the table with a cheerful "Irasshaimase!"—just like a real festival vendor—instantly bringing back memories of days spent strolling through festival streets.

「懐かしい味だね。」
「昔、子どもと一緒にお祭りに行ったのを思い出したよ。」
「おいしくて涼しくて、夏って感じがするね。」

皆さまのそんな声があちこちから聞こえてきて、私たちスタッフも胸がいっぱいになりました。食事を通して思い出がよみがえり、まるで時間が少しだけ昔に戻ったような、そんな温かなランチタイムでした。

“It tastes so nostalgic—natsukashii aji,*” one resident said with a smile, as they took a bite of yakisoba. Another laughed, remembering chasing after ramune bottle marbles as a child. These small moments, these shared memories, made today truly special.

今日は「食べる」だけでなく、「感じる」ランチ。季節の移ろいを一緒に味わい、心がふんわりと温かくなる、そんな素敵なひとときとなりました。

来年の納涼祭も、また皆さんと一緒に笑顔で迎えられますように。

There was something magical in the air—perhaps it was the refreshing flavors, or perhaps it was the joy of reminiscing together.

Everyone agreed: the food was delicious, the company even better, and for a moment, it felt like we were all back at a summer festival from years past.

Today wasn’t just about food—it was about connection, memory, and celebrating the season together. We are grateful for days like this, where the heart feels full, and the spirit of summer lives on in every bite.
